The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office is holding the 2-Day Certification Training with Test.  This course will help you to: Understand the major causes of food borne illness and how to prevent them, Increase the food safety knowledge of your employees, Improve relationships with health officials, Upon passing the certification exam, you will fulfill state requirements for Certified Food Manager status. 

Topics covered include:

• Foodborne illnesses and how they are caused

• Food safety hazards

• Sanitation regulations

• HACCP

• AND MORE!

The classes will be held on February 27th through 28th from 9 am until 4 pm.  These will be held at the Orange County Extension Office at 11475 FM 1442, Orange, TX.  To register, download the form at http://foodsafety.tamu.edu or contact the Extension office at 409-882-7010 to get a copy of the form.  The cost of the class is $125 per person.
