Teresa Dailey Roy "Teta", 63, of Orange, passed away on January 18, 2023, peacefully at home with family.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023, at MacArthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange. Officiating will be Pastor Jay Thomas.

Born in Orange, Texas, on December 7, 1959, she was the daughter of Theodore Lee Dailey and Beverly (Patillo) Arlene Dailey. Teresa served in the United States Air Force and spent time stationed in Alaska and Montana. She was very crafty woman and enjoyed building furniture out of wood pallets. More than anything, Teresa loved spending time with her family and friends, who loving called her "Teta." She enjoyed going on cruises, visiting the beach and she even worked at the Big Store at Crystal Beach for a little while. She was a wonderful and loving friend and will be deeply missed by those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Beverly Dailey; husband, L.P. Roy; and sister, Cathy Dailey.

She is survived by her brother, Theodore Lee Dailey, Jr. and wife Debbie of Orangefield; nieces and nephews, Jason Winfree of Orangefield, Cristy Delgado and husband Martin of Orangefield, Kimberly Netterville and husband Corbett of Orangefield, and Amy Fowler of Bridge City; as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
