Bill was very involved in the local community and was a common sight at Spanky's and Old Orange Cafe. The employees even knew him by name. He enjoyed reading, automobiles, and keeping up with new technology. Bill was an amazing man, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

For those who are inclined to send condolences, just as Bill was rooted in the Lord, the family would prefer plants that are rooted in a pot.
