Link benefit helps sheriff's deputy victim of tornado

The Orange County Sheriff's Alumni is holding a link and drink benefit Friday to help a deputy whose house was destroyed in the recent tornado that crossed the county.

The sale will run from 11 to 1 p.m. Friday, February 10, on the parking lot off 123 Sixth Street between the courthouse and the sheriff's office.

A lunch of a link in a bun or wrapped in a tortilla, along with chips and a drink will be $8. Each additional link will be $3 each. Advance orders may be made through alumni president, Denise Colley, at 409-748-6647. Free delivery will be available for orders of five lunches or more.
