Students in Mrs. Wolfford’s Wolf Pack became paleontologists in reading class. Students read the informational text, The Albertosaurus Mystery, learning all about two paleontologists named Barnum Brown and Phillip Currie. They also learned about fossils and Dinosaur Bone Beds. Using the Scientific Method, students were given a chocolate chip cookie, and had to use tools to get the chips out without breaking the cookie! Students also enjoyed learning about Otzi, the 5,000 year-old mummy found in the Alps on the Italian-Austrian border in 1991. Students ended the week performing their very own Dino Rap! It’s always a great day to be a Bobcat!
