Douglas Keith Forsyth (Bubba), 69, Orange

Douglas Keith Forsyth (Bubba), 69, born in Mansfield, Louisiana on July 28, 1953. Passed away at home on February 7, 2023.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Bridge Point Fellowship in Bridge City. Officiating will be Paster Lance Faulkner.

Keith graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in 1971 and worked at Jim-Austin Oldsmobile, Wickersham Ford and other area automobile body shops. He retired from the trade in 1986 due to illness. Keith was a 15-year member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He loved to dance, fish and sit on the porch and watch nature. Keith was a kind, compassionate and loving son of God.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Delmo Douglas and Mavis Whiddon Forsyth; brother, Larry Forsyth; brother-in-law, Charles Cloudy; and father-in-law, Ray Cloudy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Jenny Forsyth, sons, Barry Len Forsyth of Kalispell, Montana, and Cory Allen Rambo (Aleena) of Orange; brother, Barry Clint Forsyth (Lois) of Orange; sisters, Diane Forsyth Tinsley (Alan) of Port Arthur, Pam Hall (Adam) of Beaumont; grandchildren, Bryce Rambo, Braxton Rambo, Ava Rambo, Reese Forsyth, and Breeden Forsyth; mother-in-law, Shirley Cloudy of Orange; sister-in-law’s, Sissy McKenna (John) of Galveston, Melanie Parish (Raymond) of Bridge City, Cindy Foreman (Shannon) of Orange, and Michelle Roiz (Michael) of Sugarland; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
