"CREATE! Workshops turn a Saturday morning into an opportunity to learn new art techniques and create art in a casual, multi-generational setting, all before lunch," said Jennifer Dickinsen, director of education for the Stark Museum of Art. "Guests will spend a brief amount of time discussing a selected artwork in the museum and then have the opportunity to appreciate art in a new way by making their own in the studio."
CREATE! Workshops are monthly art-making workshops that last approximately two-hours. Each workshop includes a brief look in the gallery before heading to the studio to create an original work of art.
CREATE! Workshops are recommended for ages seven and up and are designed to be multi-generational, but please note that younger children may require additional assistance from their accompanying grown-up. We encourage family collaboration during these workshops. Children ages 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult registered for the workshop.
