Lucy Broussard Loeve passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 2, 2023, in West Orange, Texas, she was 105.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, March 6, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. She was born in Maurice, Louisiana, on December 7, 1917, to Camille and Agnes (Thibodeaux) Broussard. Lucy was very devoted to her catholic faith. She enjoyed working in her flowerbeds and cooking, especially her tarts.

Lucy was one of the last grandchildren of the LaMaison Beausoleil House at Port Neches Park. She loved spending time laughing with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Camille Agnes Broussard, her eldest daughter, Dora Fay Rost; husbands, Willis Rost, and Leonard Loeve; grandson, Kenny Harris; son-in-law, Larry Harris; sister, Adele Turner; brothers, Bruce and T-Bay Broussard.

Those left behind to cherish her precious memories are daughters, Lois Ann Harris, Brenda Rost and Fiancé Billy Slampa; grandsons, Jeffry Veitch, Jr. and Jodi, Donnie Veitch and Jennifer, Jimmy Veitch and Lesa, and Randy Veitch and Leslie; granddaughters, Chelli Romero, Ronda LatHood and Randall, and Amanda Romero; along with 18 great-grandchildren; 17 great great-grandchildren with another due in June. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffry Veitch, Donnie Veitch, Jimmy Veitch, Randy Veitch, Randall LatHood, Billy Slampa.

Honorary pallbearers are Brennen Harris, Caiden Romero, and Hunter Veitch.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Catholic Church in Orange.
