Patricia G. Kelley, 85, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 30, 2023, peacefully at home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at McDonald Baptist Church in West Orange. Officiating will be Paster Thomas Anthony. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at McDonald Baptist Church in West Orange.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 19, 1937, she was the daughter of Lawrence Guillory and Agnes (McGee) Guillory. Patricia was a charter member of the Eagles in Bridge City for many years. At the age of 40 she lost her sight, but this did not slow her down one bit.
She loved to listen to the TV and the radio when they were on, and enjoyed listening to the amazing Astros play. In her free time, Patricia would often go to the beach. She was a big-time animal lover, and her favorite was Val, an American Stafford Shire Terroir.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family and her grandkids loving called her Maw Maw.
She was a wonderful daughter, wife, and Maw Maw and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Agnes Guillory; son, Clint Hathaway; husband, Donald Kelley, Sr.; two brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Clay Hathaway and wife Patty of Iowa; daughters, Cris Anderson and husband Andy of Orange, and Cindy Hathaway and husband Russell Durio of Vidor; grandchildren, John Hathaway, Justin Hathaway and wife Jana, Carrie Richard and husband Shane, and Summer Ford and husband Corey; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Clay Hathaway, Justin Hathaway, Kevin LaRose, Andy Anderson, Corey Ford, and Rick Guillory.
Honorary pallbearer is Russell Durio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any of your favorite Animal Rescue Organization.
