Michael Jude Conway, 67, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 20, 2023, peacefully at home with family.

Born in Alexander, Virginia, on November 27, 1955, he was the son of William D. Conway, Jr. and Pansy (Caillouet) Conway. Michael worked as a shipping supervisor at Georgetown Steel for many years. He loved being outdoors to fish, and even water skiing and snow skiing when he could. He was a wonderful son, father, and grandfather, and loved his family very much. Michael’s memories will be cherished by all his loved ones.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Pansy Conway; and sister, Glenda Vincent.

He is survived by his father, William Conway, Jr.; son Andrew Conway and wife Meagan of Houston; furbaby, Buddy; grandchild, Kadence Conway; brother, Randy Conway and wife Melodi; brother-in-law, Larry Vincent; nieces and nephews, Kim Vincent, Kirk Vincent; Kevin Vincent and wife Marissa, Robbie Conway, and Cody Conway and wife Phuong’; and great-nephew, G-Man.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
