Bobbie met Jack Brock while she was in high school, and they got married on May 23, 1955.

They were married for almost 55 years when Jack passed away. There was absolutely nothing that Bobbie could not do. She was an awesome bowler, and shared her bowling knowledge and skills with not only new adult bowlers, but also the kids in the youth bowling leagues. Bobbie enjoyed playing golf with her husband Jack and friends. Bobbie taught many many children how to bowl, and improve their skills for well over 20 years, until the bowling alley in Orange closed.

Bobbie shared her love of reading with her own kids. A very gifted and AMAZING artist in almost all mediums in the artistic world there was nothing that Bobbie could not do. She was a talented painter and everything was her canvas. She created jewelry many times making her own beads. Her most recent project was creating gnomes for her gardens. Bobbie would tell her kids there was nothing they could not do, if they wanted to do it bad enough. But there was more to Bobbie.

She had a very strong faith in God. She was a strong believer in prayer. In fact she actually had a “Red Phone” hotline straight to God. Bobbie was the most loving, strong and somewhat stubborn woman mixed in one. She believed in telling you how it was, sometimes whether you wanted to hear it or not. But she never missed the opportunity to tell you how proud she was of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Bobbie’s honesty, love, art and guidance will be greatly missed. Bobbie cherished her family, large and wide and her friends. Over the years she has touched so many lives young and old both while working at the bowling, and also as a store greeter at Wal-Mart.

Bobbie is preceded in death by her Dad, George Newton Needham, her mother, Katherine Dyer Needham, her sister Margaret Shelton, brother Billy Robert Needham, Husband, Jack Brock, son Timothy Brock and grandson Jeffrey Brock.
