Debra Allene Newman, 65, of Orange, passed away on May 5, 2023, peacefully at home. Born in Coffee, Alabama, on April 9, 1958, she was the daughter of Otis Taylor and Doris Hauk. Debra was married in Indiana. She had two children in Indiana the only daughter. Debra has five brothers who she loved dearly, and her grandkids was her life. She enjoyed spending time with them and her sons. Debra was kind, thoughtful, and very funny and was a resident of Orange for over 20-years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Hauk; husband, Thomas Newman; brother, Leroy Taylor; and sister-in-law, Toni Spicer.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas Lee Newman, Jr., and James Jason Newman; daughters-in-law, Heather Singletary-Newman, and Ashley Newman; grandchildren, Jared Gillford, Chelsea Newman, Zoey Williams, Zeke Sugg, James Foster, John Singletary, Taylor Walters, Jaxson Newman, Jazzalyn Newman, Dominic Newman, Jasmine Eillott, and Savannah Elliott; brothers, James Taylor, Garry Taylor, Eugene Taylor, and Mark Taylor; father-in-law, Tim Newman; brother-in-law, John Newman; sisters-in-law, Sherry Youngman, and Terry Newman; as well as other loving family and friends.
