Neil Hudson, 83, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2023, in Sugar Land, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at Hudson Cemetery in Orange. Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born on February 15, 1940, he was the son of George Hudson and Lou (Stringer) Hudson. Neil proudly served in the United States Army for many years before going to work as a millwright. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. Neil enjoyed fixing up the house and working on cars. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need. Neil was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Lou Hudson; and daughter, Marie Hudson Talerico. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 ½ years, Linda Hudson; son, Tim Hudson of Richmond; grandchildren, Sam Hudson and Ben Hudson; brother, Joe Hudson; as well as many other loving family and friends.
