Risinger rejoins Orangefield board

Dr. Ronald Risinger
The Orangefield ISD school board has appointed former member Dr. Ronald Risinger to fill the vacancy created when Jude Graffagnino resigned his position.
Graffagnino resigned earlier this year. The board could have called a special election to replace Graffagnino, but instead opted to appoint someone to serve the rest of his unexpired term. That term will end with an election in November 2024.
Risinger previously served two terms on the school board and recently was the chair for a committee to assess the district's buildings and facilities.
