The Orange Lions Club Monday night paid tribute to longtime member Stump Weatherford by naming him as the first inductee to the Orange Lions Hall of Fame. His wife, Dayle Gunn Weatherford, was on hand to see him accept a plaque for the honor. Weatherford has held a variety of offices for Lions Club International in Orange and on regional, state, and national levels. He has volunteered hundreds of hours for the club's projects, including the local carnival and the Texas Lions camp for diabetic children.
