Alan Lee Majors, 70, Vidor

Alan Lee Majors, 70, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2023, at his home.

Graveside services will be 10:30am, Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Ryan Cemetery outside of Cleveland, Texas. Officiating will be Chaplain Kevin Trinkle

Born in Dayton, Texas, on January 30, 1953, he was the son of B.B. and Betty Majors. Alan cared deeply for his family, spending every moment he could with them and enjoyed family gatherings for any occasion. He was a very hard working and dedicated employee of TX Dot, retiring after 30 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. Alan had many hobbies including working on restoring old tractors, videoing home movies, listening to classic country music, and working on his farm, taking care of the animals. Alan was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents B.B. and Betty Majors; and his sister Jeanny Trinkle

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Carol Majors; his sons Eric Majors, and Jonathan Majors ; his honorary son Adam Dilley all of Vidor, Texas; his grandchildren Makynzee Dilley, and Mia Ard; his siblings Stanley Majors and wife Polly, and Jerry Majors and wife Tanya; and numerous nieces and nephews.
