Laura Kay Justice, 53, of Port Neches, Texas, passed away on September 19, 2023, peacefully at home.
Memorial services will begin at 5:00 p.m., Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Port Neches Park Pavilion in Port Neches. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 16, 1969, she was the daughter of Roland Willis Kennedy, Sr. and Margaret Mary (Hunt) Stewart. Laura devoted her time to making sure her home and children were always taken care of.
She loved her family deeply, especially her grandchildren. They lovingly called her Maw, Grandma, Lolli, and Memaw.
She enjoyed being with her family whenever she could. Laura had six wonderful cats: Sunny, Kali, Rain, Chester, Peanut, and Feisty. Her cats meant the world to her, and they loved her. Laura often went camping with her husband of 25 years and lived for the midnight rides on 4-wheelers through the woods. Laura had a wonderful and loving soul and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland Kennedy, Sr.; Margart Stewart, mother; Stepmom, Patty Kennedy; son, Ethan Davis; and granddaughter, Morrissa Kennedy.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Jeff Justice; daughters, Rebecca Brown and husband Michaeljordan of Nederland, and Shanna Chance of Port Neches; sons, Jeff Justice Jr. and wife Erica of Hamshire, Justin Justice and wife Ashley of Groves, and Arthur Davis and wife Johnna of Groves; grandchildren, Landon Smoke, Lexi English, Jenna Justice, Mason Justice, Keelie Justice, Jeffery Justice III, Cayden Justice, Keagan Justice, Chloe Justice, and Elidi Davis; sister, Shannon Fulk and husband Marc of Fannet; brother, Roland Kennedy and wife Laura of Conroe; as well as many other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes in Orange.
