Tanyau Broox Germany, 58, Beaumont

Tanyau Broox Germany was born November 5, 1964, as the last of four daughters, to Louis and Bettye Germany. She spent her childhood in Glenmora, Louisiana, and later, as an adult, lived in various places: Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, and became a Texas resident in 2006, residing in Beaumont, Texas, at the time of her death. Tanyau attended LSU-A and received a BA, in English. She spent several years as a teacher. She was a member of Glenmora Baptist Church. Tanyau enjoyed playing the piano, as well as writing poetry and short stories. In her later years, she become a movie/television aficionado. She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor, and sarcasm. She had a love for dogs, especially poodles, and cared for many pets in her lifetime.

Tanyau is preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by three sisters, Roxanne McGraw (Bruce), of Orange, Texas, Paula Haggart (Tommy), of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Bridget Kelley, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and six nieces and nephews.

A family graveside service will be held at Campground Cemetery, at a later date.

Arrangements were made under the care of Dorman Funeral Home.
