Elwin “Keith” Daniels, 68, of Orange, Texas, passed away at his home surrounded by loved ones on November 18, 2023. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at West Orange Christian Church in West Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Bobby Granger. Born in Orange, Texas, on November 7, 1955, he was the son of Elbert Lee Daniels, Jr and Elsie Faye (Chandler) Daniels. Keith was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. While in the Navy, he was stationed in Pensacola and Scotland, falling in love with the country. In honor of his love of Scotland, he was gifted a plot of land there by his sister, Trisha, making him a Scottish Lord. Keith was a man of Christ and a member of West Orange Christian Church. He had a unique sense of humor, enjoyed a good joke, and was great with words and writing. In his free time, he liked watching the Dallas Cowboys, traveling, playing guitar, and singing. Keith had a love for horses and pickup trucks, especially Chevys. More than anything, though, he loved his family. His wife was his world, and he cared deeply about his great-nieces and nephews, whom he viewed as his grandchildren. Keith was an incredible husband, father, brother, and uncle, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Laurel “Lori” Daniels; his parents, Elbert Jr and Elsie Daniels; and his sisters, Tina Cassidy, Tonia Martz, and Tarianne Noe. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Jeremy Keith Daniels; his brother, Kirby Lee Daniels; his sister, Trisha Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Riley Faye Johnson, Ronin Scott Johnson, Nadine Noe, Andrew Noe, Brittany Noe, Bethany Riley, Laura Collins, Kevin “Rocky” Menard, Joel Cassidy, and Robert Daniels; his great nieces and nephews, Haidyn Savant, Hunter Savant, Jaxon Savant, Devin Savant, Payton Wood, Skylar De La Cruz, Mark De La Cruz, Asher Riley, Oliver Riley, Elsie Menard, Weston Menard, Landon Menard, Haidyn Menard, Kevin Collins, Jason Collins, and Teddy Collins; along with other loving friends and family.
