Gilbert graduates from the regional police academy at Lamar Institute of Technology

Battalion Chief Joel Gilbert of the Orange Fire Department (center) recently graduated from the regional police academy at Lamar Institute of Technology. The 12-year veteran of OFD received his certification from the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as an arson investigator. He is now one of five certified peace officers in the department.
