Patricia Ann Hudson passed away peacefully at her home in Orange on December 23, 2023.

She was born on December 30, 1935, to parents Leander Chauffepied and Grace Miller Linder.

Patricia led a fulfilling life dedicated to her family and community. In addition to being a devoted mother and homemaker, she also ran a daycare and worked for her church for many years. She was a very charitable person who donated to several charities.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Leander Chauffepied and Grace Linder, her son, Kenneth Ray Britnell, her daughters, Dena Kay and Sherry Lynn, her brother, Louis Linder, and her husband, Claude Dean Britnell.

Patricia is survived by her children: Ricky Dean Britnell and his wife Sherry, Randy Glenn Britnell and his wife Linda Gail, Barry Nolan Britnell, and Rocky Dean Hudson and his wife Brena. She also leaves behind her adoring grandchildren: Autumn Hudson, Kennedy, Clarissa Issaacs, and Seth Slawson; great grandchildren: Talon, Traxton, Acen, and Crew. Patricia's sister Cheryl Johnson, former husband Dean Hudson – who remained a dear friend – along with numerous other loving family members and friends who mourn the loss of this remarkable woman.

To honor Patricia's life, visitation services will be held at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City on January 6th, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A memorial service will follow at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City at 2:00 PM. Patricia Ann Hudson will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
