The Bridge City ISD school board was honored Monday night during Texas Board Appreciation Month. The group has more than 104 years of experience serving on the board. The members are President Rebecca Rutledge, Vice President Paul Zoch, Secretary Judy Cole, Assistant Secretary Jerry McInnis, Michael C. Johnson, Mark Anderson, and Thad Hill. Superintendent Dr. Mike Kelly praised them for their tireless dedication goes beyond the call of duty, volunteering their time selflessly. They not only fulfill official duties but also consistently show up to support students and staff at various activities and events. School board members do not receive pay for their service.
