Cressy Lynn McCauley, 63, Orange

Cressy Lynn McCauley passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 63. He was born on April 23, 1960, in Orange, Texas to his loving parents Wayne McCauley and Glenda McCauley.

Cressy was a man who truly embraced life. He had a passion for the outdoors and found solace in hunting, fishing, and spending time surrounded by nature. His love for the open air was matched only by his joy in working in his garage, where he could tinker and create with his hands. Cressy's favorite music genre was rock music; he found true happiness in listening to its melodies. However, above all else, Cressy cherished his family. He adored his daughter and grandbabies. Cressy is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Bonnie McCauley, mother, Glenda McCauley, daughter, Brittani Leann McCauley Foxworth and husband Dustin, grandbabies, Kaydence Lambert, Bailey Foxworth, and one on the way, Paityn Cheyenne Foxworth, sisters, Maurene Durden and her husband Wayne, Cindy Skidmore, and Denise Jolley and her husband Lloyd, in addition to his immediate family, Cressy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as other loving friends and extended family members. He is preceded in death by his father, Wayne McCauley, brother, Russell Wayne McCauley, as well as numerous friends he considered family. Visitation will take place on February 13, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at the same location from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Cressy will be laid to rest in a burial ceremony at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery in West Orange, Texas. Cressy Lynn McCauley was a remarkable man who brought joy and kindness to everyone he encountered. His legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will continue to serve as an inspiration for generations to come. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and loyal friend.
