David Earl Sasser, 80, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 25, 2024, at The medical Center in Port Arthur. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Born in Lufkin, Texas, on April 18, 1943, he was the son of Earl Franklin Sasser and Laure Clara Davidson Sasser. David served for many years in the United States Air Force before working as an engineer, a career he loved immensely. He also had a passion for travelling to places like Thailand and Malaysia. David was a family man through and through and his greatest joy was spending time with his family and his friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Laure Sasser. He is survived by his cousins, Kenneth Pigg and wife, Tina, Glenn Matthews, and Rudy Matthews; and other loving family members and friends.
