Barbara Ann Augustine, 82, Orange

With great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and family member.

In loving memory of Barbara Ann Augustine, we are saddened to announce her passing into her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s arms on March 12, 2024.

Barbara was born on June 12, 1942, to Ora Lee and Fred Alexander in Meridian, Mississippi.

A life so beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered.

She was the sweetest soul who loved her sweets and NCIS marathons and Hallmark movies. She loved Jesus and Adored her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Big Daddy and Big Mama, siblings, Elree, Howard, Jack, and Doris.

She is survived by her siblings, Maraget Edwards, Evelyn “Fran” Hughes, Charles Alexander and wife, Patricia, and Jim Alexander and wife, Rhonda; her children, Felicia Mannino and husband, Carl, Linda Wade and husband, Tom, and Helen Wade; her beloved grandchildren, Tyler and Brittany Lan, Justin and wife, Lindsay, Jason and wife, Tiffany, LaShane and Chance, Kailey and Casey; 14 great grandchildren, numerous, nieces, and nephews, the loves of her life.

Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 15, 2024, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. A service will begin at 6:00 p.m. to honor our beautiful Barbara.

Officiating will be Reverend Joshua Sharp.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Best Hospice for the compassionate and loving care of Barbara.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
