OF FFA Land Judging team travels to Sam Houston

The Orangefield FFA Land Judging Team traveled to Sam Houston State University to compete in the Area IX CDEs. After a successful day of competition, Ethan Welch placed 1st place individual with a score of 231 out of a possible 300 points. Blaine Lenard was 5th place individual with a 198. Colt Longron (146) and Emily Walters (140) rounded out the team that helped get 2nd place in Area IX and 1st place in District. It will also be the THIRD straight State Contest appearance for the Land Judging team.
The State Land Judging Contest will be held in Stephenville on April 24th-25th.
