Emma Lue Feldman, 84, Orangefield

Emma Lue Feldman, 84, of Orangefield, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, at her home in Orangefield. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 5, 2024, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange, Texas. Officiating will be Reverend Shane Weaver of Orange First Church of the Nazarene in Orange, Texas. Born in Crowley, Louisiana, on January 4, 1940, she was the daughter of Wilson Boulet and Myrtle Sarver Boulet. Throughout her life, Emma dedicated herself to the role of homemaker with unwavering grace and poise. Her intrinsic qualities shone brightly through her selfless nature and an unwavering devotion to her cherished family. It was not uncommon for Emma to open her doors and heart to all who entered, embodying the essence of hospitality effortlessly. Emma possessed a passion for various interests that enriched her life. From tending to vibrant flowers in her garden, exploring new horizons through travel, to delving into the depths of genealogy research, she lived a life filled with curiosity and wonder. In the hearts of those who knew her best, Emma will forever be remembered as a beacon of love and kindness. Her radiant personality was illuminated by an unyielding love for her family and an innate ability to spread joy wherever she went. She leaves behind a legacy that will forever be embraced by those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. Emma's memory will continue to be treasured by her surviving family members: her sons, Troy Bland and wife, Sandra of Orangefield, Texas, and Duane Bland of Houston, Texas; her grandchildren, Alicia Dominguez and husband, Rene, Jason Bland and wife, Jilliann, Emma Bland, Kate Bland, and Sara Bland; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Nathan, Josephine, Cora, and Giovanni; her beloved sister, Hilma Crew; as well as numerous other cherished friends and family. Emma now reunites with her loving husband, Louis Feldman; her parents, Wilson and Myrtle Boulet; and her sister, Mabel Boulet, who all preceded her in death. The family of Emma would like to extend a special thank you to her caretaker, Janie Stanley, the entire staff of Best Hospice Care of Texas, and Brandon, Michelle, and Kay of I Care LLC, for all of the wonderful care they provided not only to Emma, but to their entire family throughout this process.
