Carroll Gene Dupree, 72, Orange

Carroll Gene Dupree, 72, of Orange, Texas, passed away on March 25, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on September 26, 1951, he was the son of Wilfred Dupree and Eva (Logue) Ramos. Carroll was known for his warm and loving personality, always putting his family first. Throughout his life, Carroll had a passion for fishing and hunting. He found joy in working on a boat and venturing offshore. One of his proudest accomplishments was his dedication to welding, a skill he honed over the years. He was a beloved husband, father, and family man. Carroll leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories with those who had the privilege of knowing him. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents Wilfred Dupree and Eva Ramos, his in-laws, stepson, brothers, and sisters. Carroll will be dearly missed by his surviving family, including his spouse, Elizabeth Dupree; daughter, Shawna Mooney and her husband Kevin; sons, Chris Badon and Kevin Trimm; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as his siblings, Wilfred "Tony" Dupree and Bonnie, and Steven Ramos. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish to make donations, memorial contributions can be made to Claybar Funeral Home toward the cremation services of Mr. Dupree.

Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
