The Rotary Club of Orange, in partnership with Mathews Jewelers Orange, invites the community to Sip ‘n Shop on Saturday, May 4 from Noon to 4:00 p.m. at Free State Cellars, 4702 Tejas Parkway, Orange. The event raises funds for Rotary Club scholarships for local graduating seniors. The fun event will include door prizes and raffles for gift items donated by community members and businesses. Admission is free.

Mathews Jewelers Orange will bring an array of jewelry designs for shoppers to view in the lovely outdoor setting. A portion of the jewelry sales revenue will go to The Rotary Club’s scholarship fund. The first 100 guests will receive a voucher for a complimentary glass of wine, sponsored by Mathews Jewelers Orange, Best Hospice Care of Texas, and Sherry Hommel Realty Group.

Brandi Williford, Rotary fundraising chair, noted “Door prizes will include restaurant gift certificates, tumblers, and other fun items. Guests will have the opportunity to buy raffle tickets and to allot them toward their favorite prizes which include designer bags, Astros tickets, works of art, coolers, and many more special items. Photographs of the prizes appear on the Orange Rotary Facebook page.” Heather Montagne, Rotary president, commented, “Education is a focus of Rotary International, and Orange Rotary participates by providing scholarships for local graduating seniors.
