Nacida en San Nicolas De Los Garzas, Nuevo León, México, El 14 de junio del 1968 ella era hija de Felipe Alcalá y María Luisa Cárdenas. Ella era una querida Madre, Esposa, abuela y amiga de mucha gente. Sera recordada por los platillos y comidas que hacía y traían amigos y familia juntos. Una alma generosa y bella, Leida era conocida por su forma de ser en ayudar a los demás, y su espíritu vibrante que le traía a los que la conocían. La familia siempre tuvo un lugar muy especial en su corazón, su familia siempre fue primero para ella, lo más importante. Siendo abuela le trajo una felicidad inmensa todo los tiempos y memorias que hico con ellos. Ella es acompañada en muerte con sus padres, Felipe y María Alcalá , y su hermano León Mario . Ella será sobrevivida por su esposo Martin Garcia Sr: Su hija Leida Verenice Garcia de Orange: su hijo Martin Garcia Jr. Y esposa Jessica, de Orange, Daniel Garcia y su esposa Jessica, De Bridge City, Ismael Garcia Y esposa Graciela, de Orange , Y Ezequiel Garcia , de Orange : su Nietos Aaron,Juan,Anthony,Addison,Natalie,Julian,Damian,Hayden,Leila,Andre,and Adriel; Su hermanos Jose Guadalupe, Felipe De Jesus, Jose Luis, Dora Elia, Juan Cruz, y Marco Antonio ; y barios queridos sobrinos y sobrinas ,compadres y comadres, amigos y am Leida Alicia Garcia, 55, of Orange, Texas, passed away on June 1, 2024, at her home in Orange. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024, with a Rosary being said at 7:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Born in San Nicolas De Los Garzas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on June 14, 1968, she was the daughter of Felipe Alcala and Maria Luisa Cardenas. She was a beloved mother, abuela, and friend to many. Leida will be remembered for her exceptional culinary skills, always delighting those around her with delicious meals cooked from the heart. A kind and generous soul, Leida was known for her willingness to help others, and for her vibrant spirit that brought joy to all who knew her. Family held special place in her heart, and she devoted herself wholeheartedly to their well-being. Her role as abuela to her grandchildren brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Leida's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she found solace and strength in her Catholic beliefs. Her unwavering devotion was an inspiration to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe and Maria Alcala; and her brother, Mario Leon. She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Garcia, Sr.; her daughter, Leida Garcia of Orange; her sons, Martin Garcia, Jr. and wife, Jessica, of Orange, Daniel Garcia and wife, Jessica, of Bridge City, Ismael Garcia and wife, Graciela, of Orange, and Ezequiel Garcia, of Orange; her grandchildren, Aaron, Juan, Anthony, Addison, Natalie, Julian, Damian, Hayden, Leila, Andre, and Adriel; her siblings, Guadalupe, Felipe, Luis, Marcos, Juan , and Dora; and numerous other loving nieces, nephews, family members, and friends. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
