Christian Garcia, 51, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on January 22, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. Born in Dawson County, Texas, on January 13, 1973, he was the son of Tony Hernandez and Mary Louise Hernandez. Christian had a special talent for doing Scooby Doo impressions, which never failed to make everyone laugh. He also had a green thumb and possessed an undeniable love for nature. He found great solace in gardening and nurturing plants. In the kitchen, Christian was known for his culinary talents. His specialty was cooking delicious meals that delighted the taste buds of those lucky enough to try them. Among all the dishes he mastered, the Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits held a special place in the hearts of his loved ones. Christian brought people together through humor, nature, and food – three things he held dear to his heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Louise Hernandez; and his daughter, Lacie Garcia. He is survived by his father, Tony Hernandez; his daughter, Ashley Goolsby of Beaumont; his best friend and mother of his children, Nellie Guillot; his brother, Vincent Hernandez; his three grandchildren, Seth Goolsby, Athena Goolsby, and Michael Goolsby; and numerous other loving family members and friends. Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
