Norman M. Camp, 79, of Starks, LA, died, Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Cornerstone Hospital in Sulphur.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Reverend Greg Frazier of First Pentecostal Church of Starks will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.

Visitation will be 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Norman was born October 24, 1928, in Woodlawn, TX, to John Norman and Louise (Beasley) Camp.

He was a member of Boilermakers Local 587. He loved to hunt and fish, and enjoyed working in his garden.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, John and Louise Camp.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtis Camp; son Norman Ray Camp and wife Alysa of Starks; grandson, Eric Haley, of Starks and brother Ray Camp and wife Lorene of Orange.
