Tuesday morning, Orange police were dispatched to the Kroger store on 16th St. in reference to a theft.

Upon arrival, officers met with the victim, who was identified as Archie Young, of Houston. Young told officers he was delivering merchandise inside the store.

While Young was inside the store, an unknown suspect entered the cab of his truck and took a black bag that was left on the seat. The bag contained a military I.D. card, a college I.D. card and a social security card.

The victim told police he didn’t give anybody permission to enter the vehicle, and that he didn’t notice the bag was missing until he returned to Houston.
