Donations are needed to make a difference in the lives of all nursing home residents in Orange.

Polly Gamblin has been hard at work through fundraising efforts to ensure all seniors can be presented with a beautiful gift set for Christmas. Each gift set included essentials such as hand cream, leg energizer, grip socks, shampoo/conditioner and a tooth brush.

There are more than 250 nursing home residents in Orange. Many of the residents do not have any nearby family members or friends who can help them out.

A financial donation not only gives gifts, if offers hope and lets them know somebody cares, Gamblin said.

Of the monetary donations received, 100 percent collected goes toward the Santa for Seniors gifts.

All contributors will be listed in a Christmas letter which are enclosed with the gifts. Delivery will begin on Dec. 20.
