St. Mary Catholic School was honored to have Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas President/CEO, John Paschall and Laws of Life Program Director, Michelle Brewer present at their school.

St. Mary Catholic School participated in the Laws of Life Essay Program along with 4,500 other Southeast Texas students. Mr. Paschall and Mrs. Brewer were present to announce and present Megan Do with an award for her essay which was chosen as one of the top 15 essays overall.

Over 4,500 Southeast Texas students participated in this program which promoted discussion and reflection about character ethics and core values. Megan Do was presented the finalist plaque during morning announcements with the entire student body and staff. Megan’s English teacher, JoAnn Sparacino, St. Mary School Principal, Donna Darby, and Megan’s family will celebrate her success at an Laws of Life Essay Program Awards Banquet.
