The National Weather Service in Lake Charles is expecting a wet middle of the week, with rain beginning Tuesday night, and lasting all day Wednesday before tapering off Thursday morning. Rain totals should be be one to two inches, but locally you could see up to four inches.

The heavier rain will be in southeast Texas, with smaller amounts the further east you go into Louisiana. The severe weather threat still looks to be minimal.
