Charles Robert “Bubba” Burch, 58, of Orange passed away Tuesday, Nov. 24, at his residence.

Bubba was born Dec. 12, 1956 in Orange, to Opal Mae (Welch) and Hark Burch. He was a lifelong resident of Orange and was of the Baptist Faith. Bubba was employed with Brock Services for more than 10 years as a carpenter. He enjoyed going fishing, hunting and playing dominos. Bubba was a loving person who will be missed dearly by all. He loved spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Brandon Burch and sisters, Betty Burch and Gladys Bertrand.

Bubba is survived by his wife, Kathy Burch of Orange; daughters, Opal Green and husband, Chris, of Orange, Dana Ashmore and husband, Jason of Deweyville; Hark Burch of Orange; step children, Ed Block of Orangefield, Chris Block of Ohio, Daryn Block, Faryn Block and brother, Larry Burch, all of Orange. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and one on the way; one great grandchild and one on the way.

The family will hold a memorial service Saturday, Nov. 28, at 2:00 pm at New Life Assembly of God Church,7810 FM 105, Orange, with the Rev. Keith Pennington officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, Nov. 28 from 1:00 pm until service time at the church. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Dorman Funeral Home.
