The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Linda Figueroa, Teller Supervisor at MCT Credit Union’s Bridge City branch, for receiving the May Employee of the Month Award.

Linda was presented her award, sponsored by Sabine River Ford, by Ambassador Christy Khoury, Orange County Treasurer, at the May 2017 Networking Coffee hosted by Caryn’s Bakery.

She received gifts and gift certificates from the following businesses: Sabine Federal Credit Union, Total Impressions, Dupuis Tire & Service Center, The Penny Record, Bridge City Dairy Queen, Mary Kelone of Barefoot Souls, The Classy Peacock, Neches Federal Credit Union, Complete Staffing, Tiger Rock Martial Arts of Bridge City, Candi’s Designs, and Delta Life Fitness Orange County.

Linda has worked at MCT Credit Union for 6 ½ years.

She has been married to Jesus for 34 years and they have three daughters: Rebecca Figueroa (24), Hannah Figueroa (22 years), and Rachel Moseley (30) and three grandchildren, Kolie Moseley (9), Kinlie Moseley (6), and Landen Weaver (2).

Linda and her family have lived in Bridge City for 28 years.

She is a class of 1983 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur.

They are members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Port Arthur.

Charlotte Chiasson, who nominated Linda for Employee of the Month, said, “She is always so helpful and knowledgeable about her job, has a winning personality and a kind face.”
